Preparation before registration of 3-dimensional artworks
If your artwork has a 3-dimensional form, like a sculpture or a 3d design, then it's important to take several photos from different sides. Alternatively, you can create a short video showing the artwork from all angles.
- Put all images or the video in a specific folder on your computer
- Give the folder a clear descriptive name.
- ZIP the folder by right-clicking on the folder name
- Save the folder and ZIP file as a backup on a USB stick
- Create your Copyright House account
- Log into your secure registration area
- Register your artwork and upload the video or ZIP file
- Download the the artwork's certificate of registration and store it in the same folder as the registered work on your device and USB stick

Application of a Copyright House Department of Art account is done online and takes only 5 - 10 minutes.
The steps are:
- Fill out the Copyright House Department of Art Copyright Registration form
- Log into your Secure registration area
- Follow the steps of registration
- Upload your work into your account
- Download the certificate of registration
